Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church believes in the importance of missions. However, contrary to most peoples' beliefs, missions work isn't restricted to third world countries and overseas locations. Missions work can be done right in your own backyard.

For individuals looking to serve on a global platform, Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church looks to the Global Ministries Organization of the United Methodist Church to help organize missions trips. The four areas of focus of Global Missions are:
  • Engaging in Ministry with the Poor
  • Stamping Out the Killer Diseases of Poverty by Improving Health Globally
  • Creating New Places for New People and Renewing Existing Congregations
  • Developing Principled Christian Leaders for the Church and the World
