What Is CAPS?
Our Christian Activities Program for Summer
incorporates all children from our community in a summer-long Christ-centered activities
program. CAPS began in 1989 and has been going strong ever since with a great increase
in children attending and increased staff to meet the need. The program includes devotions,
field trips, games, crafts, parties, and service projects. Our transportation includes two
15-passenger vans and carpooling chaperones. We have four summer staff members who do all
the planning and work daily hand-in-hand with the children.
CAPS is for children ages 5 through 9th grade. Each child attends the day for the grade
they are beginning in the Fall. The program will runs for 8 weeks from Monday, June
2nd
to Friday, July 25th. The CAPS staff has already been planning and preparing, so get your kids registered today.
Registration forms can be turned into the church during office hours: M-F 9-3:30 or on
Sundays to our CAPS mailbox on the office level by the elevators. Checks should be made
out to CAPS. Registration forms will be taken throughout the program.

Each age group attends one day per week on the following schedule:

Drop off time will always be 9 a.m. Pick-up time will vary with activity, which is
stated on the calendars for each month (available soon).
All participants must register and will not be allowed on any trips without a parent-signed
Medical Release Form on file. Most days children are asked to bring a packed lunch. All
expenses incurred (tickets, entry fees, registration) will be paid by registrant. If any
cost would keep your child from participating please contact our staff. Please make sure
to pick up all specific information about weekly activities in the church lobby. Calendars
should be available at least a week before the first week of CAPS.
