Mission
Our Children’s Department is designed to bring the love, acceptance, and security of Christ to children from infant through grade five.
We have loving, caring, trained teachers in all areas of our children’s ministry. Wesley Chapel offers Sunday School classes at 9:45a.m. and children's worship at 8:30 & 11:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings, plus growth opportunities on Wednesday evenings.
Security
Children's security is a serious subject at Wesley Chapel. We take great effort in making sure your children are safe and protected while in classes. We require all children through grade five to have a security tag. When the child arrives, the parents are given a matching tag. Children are not released from class to anyone without that tag.

The purpose of our nursery ministry is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for both you and your child. To accomplish this, our workers will do all they can to insure the children are happy and feel loved and cared for at church. Our nursery facilities are always staffed for every hour of worship and Sunday Morning Classes.
8:30 am 9:45 am 11:00 am
We have implemented an ID system that prevents anyone other than the parent or guardian from picking up a child. As you register your child, you will place a name tag on your child’s back and you will recieve your own corresponding tag to keep with you. Simply return the tag to a nursery worker when picking up your child. We cannot release any child without an ID tag. We have both Infant and Toddler Nurseries open 15 minutes prior to regular church services. Children are assigned to rooms by age and the capacity of each room.
Upon your first visit with us please stop off at our Welcome Center before going to any Nursery Room. We will give you the information you need to get you off to a smooth start at the Nursery door.

Small group Bible study is offered for all children ages 2 to 5 at 9:45a.m. on Sunday mornings. Leaders teach Bible stories and principles from God’s Word, including how to live as children of God. Here, the children dive into God’s Word, memorize scripture and learn through a variety of teaching styles. The children have opportunities to create and use games to learn the principles. At 11:00a.m. the elementary children attend Kids R.O.C.K. Jr. (Kids Read, are Open to, Claim and Keep God’s Word) where they can worship 'kid style.' Children encounter Christ through up-beat music, creative prayer times, and creative methods of receiving the offering, as well as puppets, drama, movies, games, and activities. Crew leaders meet the kids in the individual classrooms each Sunday and then escort them to the activity room in the upper level of the Family Life Center for their worship time.
